The PA Search section of the blue book reports on salaries and expert analysis for top-level execuitve support.
In 2009 the report outlines:
- Top level executive assistants with solid experience working for high fliers and Captains of Industry continue to merit salaries in the £50ks to £60ks range.
- The economic downturn in the latter part of 2008 has resulted in fewer PA and business support roles on the market.
- Organisations are in a stronger position for potential 'bargains' as experienced candidates are more openly considering reduced salary levels for the right opportunity.
- Despite the influx of candidates in the market, securing the right EA at the very top level is still regarded as critical, with no room for compromising on the calibre of recruits.
