It's back - Media Employer of the Year!

This years Media Employer of the Year awards ceremony will be held at the W hotel on Wednesday 23rd November 2011. The annual award is the UK’s only award which recognises media companies’ ability to inspire and develop their staff.

We have received a particularly high standard of nominations this year and the 2011 finalists are:

The winner of the award will be announced on the evening.

At Pathfinders, we regularly survey our candidates to ask what they value in an employer. Time and again we hear that jobs with good prospects, training and progression are rated above all other considerations. We also increasingly receive feedback that recent graduates and those entering the job market for the first time are placing work life balance as paramount to their job search.

As the award moves into its thirteenth year, we find ourselves in a rapidly changing employment market where candidates and employers alike face their own set of challenges. It seems more than ever appropriate to highlight shining examples of best practice in the media industry and recognise those companies who are evolving to adapt to market conditions, demonstrating imaginative ways to motivate and value their staff whilst also still welcoming new talent.
