Have you recently graduated university with a science degree and are looking to start your career in events management? Do you like working with academics and traveling across the UK? This could be the role for you!
You will be working for a well-developed organization that supports scientists in their fields such as offering grants for research, collaboration and international travel, organizing world-class scientific meetings and publishing the latest developments in its leading scientific journals.
The role will require you to find speakers for events, liaise with academics and board members, and organizing the running of the event with them. The events can be based anywhere across the UK, so you must be open to traveling. The role is hybrid, but you must be in office 8 days per month and always on a Wednesday.
Looking for someone who has recently graduated university (2021/ 2022) in a science based field or someone who has administrative experience and has great organization skills and a high attention to detail.
