A highly successful boutique investment management firm renowned for its commitment to excellence and track record of delivering outstanding results for its clients have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a recent graduate. As the firm continues to build on its success, they are in search of a dynamic graduate to fill the role of ‘Graduate Executive Assistant’. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to launch a rewarding career as an EA in the financial sector. The role is a new role and as such is a 12-month fixed term contract initially. There is the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
The Graduate Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in providing exclusive support to the CEO, focusing solely on the business aspects of the role. This position entails no personal support tasks but requires the incumbent to serve as the CEO’s right-hand person, responsible for optimising the CEO’s schedule, managing the diary, coordinating both domestic and international travel, and taking a proactive approach to preparing for and participating in board meetings, including recording minutes.
Key responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the CEO’s calendar to ensure the most effective use of time
- Coordinate and facilitate domestic and international travel arrangements, handling all logistical details
- Take a proactive approach to preparing materials and briefings for board meetings, assisting the CEO in staying well-prepared
- Attend board meetings, diligently recording accurate minutes and tracking action items
- Creating professional Board packs and inputting your own ideas to add value to the CEO
- Project support when needed
Looking for candidates with an excellent academic background from a leading/Russell Group University, minimum of 2:1 or above. You will proactive, confident and client focused and excited about the prospect of supporting the CEO at the core of a boutique investment management firm with the prospect of progressing longer term within finance.
