Our client, an established software company, is looking for a polished and personable Receptionist to join their busy office in Slough on a 2-month temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, thrives in a professional workplace and takes pride in delivering a first-class front-of-house experience. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues, while also supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
The Role
- Meeting and greeting visitors, clients and guests in a warm and professional manner
- Managing the reception area to ensure it remains organised and presentable at all times
- Answering and transferring incoming calls efficiently
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and preparing rooms for meetings
- Handling post, deliveries and couriers
- Providing administrative support to the wider office team
- Supporting facilities tasks including liaising with suppliers, monitoring office supplies and helping ensure the workplace runs smoothly
- Assisting with ad hoc office coordination tasks as required
About You
- Previous reception, front-of-house or office support experience preferred
- Professional, friendly and confident communication style
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive with a hands-on approach
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy office environment
- Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills
- Positive, team-focused and eager to help
