Merchandising Administration Assistant (6-month contract) - £23k – Central London (ID:11718)
An established home design and lifestyle shop, based in central London, are looking for a Merchandising Administration Assistant to join the head office team on a 6-month fixed term contract, where you will be assisting the buying and merchandising departments to ensure the smooth flow of stock to customers. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in the office 2-3 days a week, paying £23k plus benefits.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months experience in administrative roles. A degree in merchandising, or a background in fashion/luxury design retail would be beneficial but not essential. This is a very fast paced role, therefore the key characteristics you need to have are proactivity and an aptitude for taking initiative to help out where you can. You will also need to be highly detail oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills to deal with the high volume of admin tasks. You will be joining a very tight knit team of 25 with a strong collaborative and supportive culture, therefore, being a team player is also essential.
