We are recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join a large, well-established school in North Wembley.

This is a fully on-site position offering a stable and supportive working environment.


The school is flexible on contract type and is keen to appoint the best available candidate, whether immediately available or currently serving notice on a full or part time working basis.

The Role

As Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

End-to-end payroll processing for teaching and support staff
Ensuring payroll is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time
Managing starters, leavers, salary changes, and contractual amendments
Handling payroll queries from employees professionally and efficiently
Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
Supporting audits and statutory reporting as required
Working closely with HR and Finance teams

About You

Proven experience in a Payroll Specialist / Payroll Officer role
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice
Experience using payroll systems (education sector experience advantageous but not essential)
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Able to work  on-site
Must be local or able to commute easily to North Wembley
